Thank godness for some people that exists in our lives!!! If not for them, we would never be who we are today. Sounds cliched? I guess it is, but after seeing something, I realised how important it is to have friends. Click
here to find out more about what I am talking about. Start reading from the 17th post.
I used my card to book movie tickets yesterday!! There were 6 of us going to Cineleisure to watch The Pacifier, and I was worried that by the time we reached there [meeting time was 1830] there would be no more seats left for us. Besides, someone always had to be late. So, to prevent us from having to suffer from the fate of discovering that there aren't any more seats left for us, I decided to book the seats for them. And indeed, someone WAS late. Guess who?
After purchasing the popcorn and drinks using the 2 pieces of discount coupons, we entered the theatre. Four of us shared the sweet popcorn but after the movie ended, we were still struggling with it. The other 2 girls actually managed to finish theirs!! Anyway, halfway through the movie, Mavis turned to me to ask me for tissue. She said that Elin squirted tomato sauce on her. So I asked around and got her the tissue. I though Elin had gotten herself some fries or a burger. Turns out that she was actually munching on some Cherry tomatoes and strawberries and the juice was squirted onto Mavis's arm. The movie was rather funny. Or at least to me it was rather funny because after the show, my friend told me that I was laughing at almost everything, even at times when things weren't exactly amusing. So, I am easily amused. Ok, which is true because I seem to laugh at almost every lame joke in the world.
After the movie, we walked all the way to Ngee Ann City. Most of the shops were either closing or closed already. Apparantly, there don't seem to be any night life in our city. I was dying from popcorn saturation already but after reaching Mos Burger, I still got myself a milkshake. Anyway, Elin was behaving weirdly. We stared at her doing funny stuff with her unfinished milkshake unapprovingly. Sure, some parts were kind of funny, like the UFO, but most of it was gross. Fiona pressed Elin's hand against the disgusting saucer filled with chilli, barbecue and tomato sauce and venilla milkshake and Elin rubbed all the sauce that was on the palm against Fiona's palm. Ewwww. I actually took a picture of one of Elin's 'masterpiece'.
Anyway, I called kyl after discovering I missed her call, only to find out [to my disgust] that there was tuition that night. Apparantly the group of MJ girls didn't want their tuition on Saturday and decided to change it back to Friday. Can't they just make up their minds about things???! They were the ones who wanted to change the tuition timeslot to Saturday because of their squash training on Friday but now they want to change it back. Have they any idea how much trouble they are causing to the others??! So now they have their tuition on Friday and we have our tuition on Saturday. I wonder why the tutor want to split us up into 2 groups. I don't exactly like the idea of going for Physics and then Math tuition back to back. So now I have to leave home at 1200 instead of 1400.
