::Valentine's Day::
Which is today. Was quite terrible because when I was going to school, I saw everyone wearing jeans and I thought that boardshorts were not allowed. I was really very worried as usual, thinking too much about things. Luckily, it was not the case. Nobody cared much about what you wore. Received quite a lot of stuff from the girls and some nicer guys in the class, who gave everyone something. Actually I felt rather bad because I didn't bring my stuff for them. Ha. Did Chemistry practical. The teacher was informing us on how expensive the particular chemical [methyl benzoate] was, about $1000+ for a small little bottle. So no wastage she repeated again and again. And the people were like saying if you spilt something, you will need to lick it up. Anyway, that's not the point. Was sort of ostracized [os·tra·cize (ŏs'tra-sīz') tr.v., -cized, -ciz·ing, -ciz·es. To exclude from a group.] by the others [we had to work in a group because of the expensive nature of the chemical]. I wonder why people seem to fear me. Do I emit some sort of scary aura? [Yeah. Maybe I do. Maybe they imagine me as some sort of parang carrying mad woman who go around chopping people's heads off their necks.] Anyway, we tried really very very very hard to get some white precipitate to appear. This particular fellow in my group even broke the glass rod while trying to scratch the inner surfaces of the conical flask to induce crytallisation. So finally at the end of the period we suddenly got a lot [I really mean a lot] of white ppt. It just kept appearing and appearing. But the teacher told us to throw it away since there was no more time. We were the only group among the 3 to get something. So I thought that was a great deal already. PE was really a torture for me today. Although I have been running the same route for many times now, today abnormally terrible. After 100m, I had already developed an extremely painful stitch [not sure about the spelling]. It really dragged me down a lot because it was so painful. I kept running and when I reached the end, I felt really sick. Urgh. Must be the Snickers that I ate during Physics. I was wondering whether anyone realised that I have not blogged for an extremely long time already. Almost thought I was going to abandon my blog. Anyway, I am back at playing Neopets. I realised that there's this Total Defence game in it. And I was really shocked. I mean, the Singapore Total Defence thing? They really went really far to make us patriotic to the country. I have a screenshot of it.
And it's one of the better games because you can earn quite a bit. And I was very late for tuition on Saturday. Overslept and reached the centre 1h30min later. Anyway, I am going to end this now. Happy Valentine's! Google has made this really cool logo for today.
