Today I repeated the Chemistry experiment on Monday about making esters. Today's practical would be so much more successful if the stupid filter paper did not have a hole at the final filtration. Apparantly the hole was so small we did not notice it until we saw a cloudy filtrate. So we lost most of the yield through repeated filtration and I did not dry the ester up properly. As least it glimmered a bit like a crystal. I was so obsessed about the white coloured stuff I kept fingering it throughout the whole of Chinese where we watched the movie, A World Without Theives. It was quite arty. Didn't expect it to be like that. But the theives have skills that are way to fake. Too CG. Went to CO for nothing today. After walking around for one hour, we were told to leave. Stupid isn't it? Such a waste of time. Went to Parkway with a friend to buy a red shirt for tomorrow. In the end she also got a shirt, a black one. And I really should get a black shirt as well since I don't have any. Tomorrow's the carnival. Hopefully I will perform well. And I still want to redo my ester experiment. I don't understand why Fiona keep saying that my ester is of inferior quality and hers is of high quality. We were arguing over that for quite some time actually.
